What are Maxie & Moo playmats made from?

Our playmats are made from high-quality EVA foam. They are non-toxic, BPA-free, and safe for babies and children.

Are your mats safe for babies?

Yes. Our mats provide a soft, cushioned surface that is perfect for tummy time, crawling, and play.

How thick are the mats?

Our mats are extra thick (1.2cm) to provide comfort and support for little hands, knees, and tumbles.

Are the mats waterproof?

Our mats are water-resistant, which makes them easy to clean. However, they should not be soaked or left wet for extended periods.

Usage & Design

Can I customise the size of my playmat?

Yes. Our interlocking tiles allow you to create a play space as big or small as you need, making them perfect for any room. You can buy single tiles of most mats. If your mat is not listed please get in touch.

Do the mats stay in place?

Yes. The interlocking design keeps the tiles securely connected and stable during use.

Can I use the mats on carpet?

Yes, but they perform best on hard, flat surfaces. We do not recommend using the playmats on medium or high pile carpets.

How do I clean my playmat?

Simply wipe your mat with a soft cloth. For tougher stains a soft cloth and mild detergent with water can be used. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

Can the mats get wet?

While water-resistant, mats should not be exposed to excessive moisture or left damp, as this may affect the printed surface over time. To keep your mat looking its best, we recommend following our care guidelines and using the mat in a dry indoor environment.

Can I use the mats in sunlight?

We recommend indoor use and avoiding prolonged direct sunlight, as this may cause fading or wear over time. To keep your mat looking its best, we recommend following our care guidelines and using the mat in a dry indoor environment.

Can I return or exchange my mat?

We accept returns in line with our returns policy. Please note that sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.

Can I reorder tiles later?

Yes, provided the design is still in stock.
